Winter Light Up
Enjoy Canadian classics at the Stony Plain Winter Light Up event! Come down for the holidays and watch the lights on the tree glow in the fresh winter air. Kids can get photos with Santa, and enjoy lots of Canadian treats, such as maple taffy on snow. Local businesses help bring this event to life with prizes and activities for all to enjoy. Central Park

Family Fest

The Pioneer Museum is home to tens of thousands of artifacts from the birth and growth of these great towns. Take a walk through history and learn all about the origins and story of these communities. Aiming to keep the spirit and history alive, the museum collects things of historical interest and presents the stories of these items to visitors. The museumβs volunteers help in machinery restoration, building restoration and maintenance, archiving artifacts, guiding tours and hosting events. With special exhibits, demonstrations, displays, and activities, you can travel back in time to a simpler era.
TransAlta Tri Leisure Centre
Whether you want to go for a swim, pass the puck, or sweat out last night’s meals, the TransAlta Tri Leisure Centre is a recreational facility for everyone to enjoy. You can drop in any time to enjoy a variety of activities. They also offer programs and special events that are worth checking out while you’re here. You can pop in for a game of pickleball, pick up shinny, volleyball, basketball, zumba, or whatever you fancy on that particular day!
Spruce Grove Grain Elevator Museum
Did you know that since 1933, the number of grain elevators in Western Canada have gone from a whopping 1800 to only 313 left in Alberta? The preservation of these grain elevators is a reminder of our history and how far we’ve come in many ways. Being a part of our unique Canadian culture, the Spruce Grove Grain Elevator Museum aims to protect the memories of our past and teach us valuable lessons to take into the future.
