Jim Galloway Memorial Off Leash Park is the place to head if you're looking to get some exercise with your dog. 8.6 acres of fenced off-leash area, almost 1 kilimotres of gravel trails, beautiful views and treed sections, lots of benches and places to sit and relax throughout, and ample parking make this a popular spot for both locals and visitors.

Stony Plain BMX

The Stony Plain BMX Association is a community organization that promotes BMXing in the Tri-Region. Through their race teams and development program, the association is building awareness of this Olympic sport throughout the community. Their beautiful park is open to the public meaning anyone can use the track any time (outside of organized event times). They also have Bring A Buddy days with loaner equipment on hand, which are great opportunities for newcomers to the sport to give it  a try. If you'd rather just watch, the public is more than welcome to come out and take in one of their races - it's a highly recommended experience.
