All summer long, your go-to resource is the Greater Parkland Regional Chamber of Commerce! You can find events, community updates, and so much more for Spruce Grove and Stony Plain.
The GPRC aims to provide comprehensive information to all of our visitors! Whether it’s your first time here or you’re returning for another visit, our chamber is here to help.

Spruce Grove Grain Elevator Museum
Go back in time at the Spruce Grove Grain Elevator Museum! This museum has preserved a number of artifacts from Alberta’s history, including grain elevators! You can visit any day for a personal peruse, take a tour, or check out some of their upcoming events.
On June 17th and 18th, you can head down for a Craft Beer Night hosted by the museum! Tickets are $25 per person which includes a drink of choice! This event proudly supports the Spruce Grove & District Agricultural Society which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year!
A truly incredible accomplishment for an incredible organization. We can’t wait to share it with you!
Pioneer Museum and Tea House
The Pioneer Museum and Tea House in Stony Plain is a calming reminder of old times! Take a peaceful stroll through the grounds, enjoy artifacts from our past, and spend time with family and friends!
On Fridays and Saturdays, the Pioneer Museum Tea House serves delicious, homemade lunches, desserts, and soups, as well as a variety of tasty teas. A staple of our community, we invite you to share a warm cup of tea with our community.
Our tea house is completely run by volunteers and is our biggest internal fundraiser which helps provide money to run the operations and programs of our museum.
This summer, the museum is planning a swath of exciting events worth attending. Keep your eyes open for calendar updates!
Fun in the Sun
Summer Sessions
Starting June 15th, you’ll want to head down to the annual Summer Sessions!
Admission is free and there will be shows every Wednesday in Heritage Park on the Blueberry Stage. This event runs until August 3rd and features great artists like Eric Kane with Cassie Cameron, Brasstactics, and more!
Gates open at 5:30 pm. Every performance has an opening act at 6:30 pm and a featured artist at 7:00 pm.
You’re welcome to bring your own picnic to enjoy, but there’s delicious food and beverages on site! Grab a picnic table or bring your camping chairs with your friends and family to enjoy the sounds of summer through incredible Canadian talent.
If you’re around town this month, you have to try out the Passport for Prizes initiative in Stony Plain, too. Running from June 17th to 25th, Passport for Prizes is a scavenger hunt where you collect stamps from local participating businesses for a chance to win prizes!
It’s free to participate and you can pick up a passport at any participating store!

Cool off on those extra hot days at the Ken Morrison/REMAX Excellence Spray Park!
Enjoy a refreshing splash through the water park with the family. Washrooms and change rooms are available, as well as a plaza and grass space. This favourite amenity of Spruce Grove is a welcome relief on those hot summer days.
Community Street Market
This month, you should definitely check out the Community Street Market in Stony Plain.
This community garage sale is hosted in downtown Stony Plain and features over 100 booths of local vendors, including:
- Antiques and collectables
- Handmade crafts
- Artwork
- Gently used items
- Barbeque and food trucks

Allied Arts Council Art Gallery
Enjoy a break from the sun inside. There’s a beautiful view at the Allied Arts Council Art Gallery with incredible paintings, murals, and works from local artists. You can also take art classes (and the kids can, too!), visit online shows, or take an immersive tour of all the local art On-The-Edge.

Or you can enjoy some peace and quiet at the Spruce Grove Public Library! Read some new, or old, books, join Star Birdyellowhead for a professional workout, or check out other events coming up this summer!
