Summer in the City

Summer in the City is back again in Spruce Grove with tons of exciting camps and activities to enjoy. These week-long programs have something for everyone to enjoy.
Try out some adventure camps to meet new friends and explore this beautiful city! A variety of activities and experiences are planned, including daily games, outdoor play and crafts. Biking, swimming, hiking and a weekly field trip are all part of the fun.

Head down to the pop-up playground! This free drop-in program has fun activities that take place throughout the parks of Spruce Grove in July and August. Designed for kids, aged 3 to 8 years old to attend with friends, parents or caregivers, each week will feature a different theme and special activities with games and crafts. Parents are responsible for their children at all times and must be available in the event of an emergency. There are even MORE community programs to try this summer. Make a splash the right way this summer at the Stony Plain Outdoor Pool! Located at 5210-55 Avenue, this outdoor oasis has been in the community for more than 40 years. The Town of Stony Plain collaborates with the TransAlta Tri Leisure Centre to operate the pool all summer long.  Bring the whole family for a day of fun in the sun! Stay cool in the pool, enjoy a lounge in the shade, and share snacks and beverages with the people you love. The best way to relax? We think so.
