Every November, Spruce Grove’s Light Up event invites residents and visitors to kick off the winter season and share in community Christmas spirit by watching the magical lights at Central Park come to life. It is truly a ‘wow’ moment! Under the sparkle of over 250,000 lights, families enjoy skating around the oval rink, sampling snacks and beverages, and participating in crafts and games. The lights remain on for the entire winter season – giving you plenty of time to experience this amazing display.

Celebrate Canada Day in style On-The-Edge!

On July 1, Spruce Grove and Stony Plain each host a festive Canada Day celebration attracting 1000’s of residents and visitors every year. From an early morning pancake breakfast to afternoon activities, festivities, and food to late night live entertainment. And of course, spectacular fireworks show!

Stony Plain hosts free concerts for everyone to enjoy over the summer with amazing local artists. Held in beautiful Heritage Park, you can come down with your chairs, blankets, snacks, drinks, and anything else you desire. These shows go on all summer long, so you’ll definitely have to check them out during your stay with us!

The Farmers' Days Rodeo and Exhibition is held every June in Heritage Park!
