Twenty Eight Urban Kitchen

Whether you’re looking for a delicious breakfast spot to hit with friends or a casual dining experience for a night out with the family, Twenty Eight Urban Kitchen is the place to do. Their menu ranges from brunch favourites to Filipino classics so there is something for everyone at the table.

Bing’s #1 Restaurant

For three generations, this Western-Chinese food restaurant has served Stony Plain. With an all-day breakfast menu, a Canadian menu, and a Chinese menu – Bing’s #1 has something for everyone. Utilizing the original recipes from 1970, most items are still prepared by hand using traditional methods and fresh ingredients. Fun fact: Bing’s #1 has been operated by the Stony Plain mayor’s family since the beginning. It continues to be a local favourite!

Jack’s Drive In

This old-fashioned Spruce Grove drive-in restaurant has been around since 1960, serving locals and visitors for over 50 years. The menu features all the delicious food you’d expect at a drive-in and some other Alberta staples. You’ll find burgers, hot dogs, breakfasts, chicken strips, fries, sandwiches, fish & chips, donairs and perogies. Stop by and you’ll see why visitors and locals have been praising Jack’s for the past half-century.

Sorrentino’s

Part of the renowned Edmonton Sorrentino’s family, Stony Plain’s location is locally owned and operated. On top of the amazing food that they serve, they also host cooking classes and events. Meaning you can learn how to make the delicious Italian-style food found on their menu. Date night anyone? They even have a limo service to pick you up!

Spruce Park Ranch Café

While the Spruce Park Ranch Country Store sells decor, gifts, and other awesome stuff, their coffee shop offers a down-to-earth menu of handmade drinks. Describe their coffee in one? Delicious. Plus, there’s something so charming about enjoying a warm drink while you browse and shop. They also have a patio during the summer months with sun and shade, and ice cream from the Snack Shack.

Something Else Restaurant

In the core of Spruce Grove, this locally owned Greek restaurant serves seafood, pasta, and other awesome dishes. Something Else features family recipes inspired by Chef Louie Balomenos. A beautiful atmosphere for a date night, family meal, or business meeting, this Spruce Grove restaurant is committed to creating a memorable experience.

Sammy’s Family Restaurant

This Parkland County gem has soft-serve ice cream, pies, catering, and must-try milkshakes! Located in Entwistle, Sammy’s is the perfect place to stop while enjoying a scenic Tri-Region drive or if you’re on a road trip west towards the mountains.

Dara’s

Dara’s in Stony Plain is a combination of a café and a home decor shop. The cozy, quiet, and peaceful ambiance of the coffee bar is a relaxing stopping point when combined with a leisurely shopping trip around beautiful downtown Stony Plain. We highly recommend their German apple cake!

KC’s Restaurant and Lounge

KC’s Restaurant and Lounge serves Greek, Italian, seafood, and pizza. Talk about variety! Since 1985, they’ve been serving Stony Plain with delicious food and seriously stunning decor. The entire lounge can be booked for private events, and they cater as well. They also serve the delicious locally brewed Stony Brew Co. beer!

Last Spike Grill at Trestle Creek Golf Resort

Trestle Creek in Parkland County is home to the savory Last Spike Grill. Open seasonally throughout the warmer months, you’ll enjoy an amazing selection of daily, fresh-made favourites. It’s also a great spot for a banquet, event, or wedding. Their Prime Rib Night each Saturday comes highly recommended, reservations are encouraged.
